Let’s Work Together
I Am That is a third space.
Calm, attentive, professional.
Students feel seen, supported, and safe to return.
At I Am That, we do things differently. We believe in creating a work environment that’s kind, supportive, and fair, where staff feel valued, respected, and part of a true community. With low staff turnover, fair wages, and a culture built on care, we’re proud to be a place people love to teach and grow.
As our studio continues to grow, so does our team. We’re always open to hearing from passionate, inclusive teachers who want to move, teach, and hold space in meaningful ways, and who value community, curiosity, and care as much as skill.

YOGA & PILATES TEACHERS
-
We're growing our Pilates team and looking for Pilates-first teachers who care deeply about quality teaching, professional standards, and creating a space where all bodies feel welcome.
What we offer:
Boutique 6-bed Reformer studio - not group fitness, we know our clients by name
Mat classes with a focus on teaching quality rather than numbers
Membership-based community - around 80% members, no ClassPass
Clear and consistent program structure: Flow (our signature style), Elevate (intermediate), Restore, Classical
Third-space culture - calm, professional, and community-focused
A team environment where experienced teachers are trusted, supported, and encouraged to stay and grow over time
What we're looking for:
Pilates-first teachers certified in Mat and/or Reformer
Strong understanding of Classical repertoire with the ability to plan intelligent, well-structured classes
Highly observant teaching style - able to read the room and adapt in real time
Comfortable with tactile cueing and individual attention, particularly in Reformer classes
Professional, reliable, and clear in communication
Current First Aid, CPR, and appropriate insurance
Why join: We're a membership studio with a genuine, long-term community. Most of our students practice with us week after week, allowing for continuity, progression, and real teacher-client relationships. Our Reformer offering is truly boutique, and our Mat classes prioritize depth of teaching over volume.
If you're a Pilates-first teacher who values consistency, craft, and working within a clear, thoughtful program, we'd love to chat.

We're always open to connecting with experienced yoga teachers, whether for covers now or the potential for regular classes over time. We're less interested in where or what you trained in, and more interested in how you teach, how you hold space, and how students feel when they leave your class.
What we offer:
Clear and consistent class structure across six styles: Power Flow, Vinyasa Flow, Slow Flow, Mellow Flow, Yin, YinYasa
Membership-based community - around 80% members, no ClassPass
A studio that values yoga as a spiritual and embodied practice, not just fitness
Third-space culture - calm, professional, and community-focused
A team environment where teachers are respected, supported, and encouraged to stay and grow with us over time
What we're looking for:
Minimum 5 years of in-person studio teaching experience
Inclusive, grounded, and respectful teaching approach
Layered teaching style - offering clear foundations with optional progressions, avoiding hierarchy-based language
Strong emphasis on flow - prioritizing smooth, intentional transitions rather than static holding
Educational teaching style - weaving in yoga philosophy and the "why" behind the practice
Deep respect for the history and cultural roots of yoga
Comfortable learning students' names and building real relationships
Able to teach mixed-level rooms, supporting beginners and advanced students within the same class
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Current insurance
Why join:
We're a membership studio where students practice week after week, allowing for continuity, trust, and meaningful teacher-student relationships. We believe yoga is a way of life, not a performance, and that each person's practice looks different. We're less interested in trends or spectacle, and more interested in creating a grounded, inclusive space for personal growth, presence, and connection.
If you value teaching the whole person - body, heart, and mind - we'd love to chat.
